Self-clinching TurnLock fasteners for quick panel installation
Yes, TurnLock offers several miniature self-clinching quarter-turn fasteners that can be installed directly into a correctly prepared panel.
These one-piece fasteners are useful when a compact, permanently retained operating mechanism is required. Depending on the selected series, the fastener can use a push-and-turn, self-closing or push-to-close operating method.
Three light-duty clinching series are available: LOPCPTTL, LOPCSCTL dan LOPCPSCTL.
Panel preparation is specific to each version
The required panel opening, frame preparation and permitted material thickness depend on the selected head style and product version. Always use the technical drawing for the exact part number before preparing the panel.

. Light Duty One-Piece Clinching Push-and-Turn TurnLock requires the user to press the head before rotating it into the required position.
To return the fastener to its previous position, press the head again and rotate it approximately a quarter-turn.

LOPCSCTL self-closing clinching fastener
. Light Duty One-Piece Clinching Self-Close TurnLock uses an internal spring to return the fastener automatically towards its locking position.
To hold the fastener in the open position, the user normally needs to maintain rotational force at the end of the quarter-turn.
Depending on the panel preparation and installation orientation, the fastener can also be configured so that its natural resting position is open.

LOPCPSCTL push self-closing clinching fastener
. Light Duty One-Piece Clinching Push Self-Close TurnLock is operated by pressing the top of the head. The fastener then moves automatically into its locking position.
To return it to the open position, rotate the head approximately a quarter-turn.
The panel can also be prepared so that the fastener uses a push action to open and remains in the open position. This series is available with a knurled half-wing head.
